Influenced by the great artists and illustrators of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, Eric Bowman’s oil paintings have a fine art approach and appeal, garnering him many awards including Gold Medals from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles, the Spectrum Annuals and the Dallas Society of Illustrators. A self-taught artist, Eric grew up in southern California where he started out airbrushing surfboards and drawing comic books while still in high school. He currently works in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where he lives with his artist/musician wife, Debbie.
